Arts, Sports & Music are few of the most influential themes that connect people from varied social, cultural and economical backgrounds. Opulentus Ireland Ireland is bringing people from across the country for a variety of Art, Music & Sport Events this weekend. It is going to be one of the busiest weekends in Ireland, with close to a million people on the move either heading home or flying off for a holiday or flocking to festivals around the country. The Oxegen festival at Punchestown in Co Kildare, Castlepalooza and Indiependence arts and music festivals are some of the festivals planned for this weekend. With the two All-Ireland Senior Football quarter finals at Croke Park, as well as numerous local events celebrating The Gathering tourist drive, the Dublin Airport Authorities (DAA) expect more than 285,000 passengers to pass through Dublin Airport between last 2nd and 5th August, 2013. While more than 40,000 passengers are expected to pass through Cork Airport over the weekend, more than 2,000 flights are expected to arrive and depart through the DAA's Terminals 1 and 2 over the same period. As more than 200,000 passengers head for various destinations across the country, the Rail and Bus Stations are also expected to be packed. Irish Ferries sailing to and from UK and France, including Ulysses, the massive super ferry which can carry 1,342 cars and 1,875 passengers are also reported to be near capacity.
